About The Rejuvenation Space
The Rejuvenation Space was established with the intention to provide and assist adolescents (ages 13 to 18) and young adults (ages 19-45) with MAKING THE SPACE TO EXPLORE, REVIVE, AND RESET as they come across life challenges that create uncertainty and change e.g., identity, commitments, social expectations, self -acceptance, independence, relationships, sexuality, success, failure, time management, family conflict. Adolescence marks the beginning of trying to figure out who you are and your place in the world! As a result, you may formulate perspectives that may be confusing and will leave an imprint on how you approach young adulthood.
For the adolescent —
It can feel really isolating and frustrating
…trying to understand the physical changes from puberty, juggling school work and social life, interest in sexual relationships, increased conflict with parents for independence, on top of trying to manage strong emotions and impulses while the brain continues to change and develop.
For the young adult —
It can become increasingly overwhelming
…trying to navigate through becoming an individual, peer-pressure, college life, career choice, dating, moral values, financial responsibilities, parenting, shift in family dynamics while trying to maintain balance and figure out what stability looks like for them.
Mental Health Concerns
Below are some examples of common mental health concerns adolescents and young adults may face:
It’s all about YOU!
The Rejuvenation Space provides a safe space for you to:
Process your feelings, thoughts, and needs by fostering support and collaboration that will allow you to come into awareness of how you are living your life vs. how you would actually like to live your life. The focus is on inward work which will assist you with getting to know who you are from your own lens and not the lens of others.
