Hi, my name is Chrystal R. Allen
I am a psychotherapist and the business owner of Rejuvenation Space. I have been passionate and dedicated to working with adolescents and young adults for the last decade in residential, community, and outpatient settings. My interest in adolescent and young adult development stems from my own thought-provoking experiences as an adolescent and shift into young adulthood attempting to make sense of What I was doing? Where I had been? Where I was going? ... however, there was no space made for me to work through how I could utilize my own experience to recognize my potential.
About Chrystal:
I believe in purposeful living but, it is difficult to live with intention without having the understanding of self and the appropriate resources to guide you along the way. To feel misunderstood as an adolescent or unheard as a young adult can lead to the idea that feeling silenced is the norm and unhealthy coping skills are effective ways to manage problematic feelings and thoughts.
There is no longer a need to feel misunderstood or silenced! Especially when you have so much to say and contribute to!
My Credentials:
I obtained my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Pace University in New York State. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in New Jersey State (license #37PC00708300) and New York State (license #007104-1). I am certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Furthermore, I am an International Honor Society in Psychology Psi Chi Life time Member, Member ID: 1006785 and I am an American Counselor member (ACA), Member ID: 6460213.
